The Adaptable Polarity (AP) is for any therapist licensed to touch, finding a place and space for all new and old tools.
- Massage Therapists (Nationally approved for CEUs): those looking to add knowledge about the nervous system, therapy localization, enhanced palpation skills, and manual muscle testing
- Physical Therapists: (*Applying for PT CEUs) enhance palpation skills, learn to assess and feel the body beyond traditional orthopedic testing.
- Craniosacral Therapists (CST): AP is not CST, but takes many osteopathic and craniopathy principles that created what is currently known as CST. Since CST is a very yin/receptive modality, AP will help any practice to know when to switch away from this approach to a more yang/active process working with the human being. There are “Body Maps” (also called “Treasure Maps” by some students) provided to help investigate if it is a cranial issue, or coming from somewhere else. AP will also enhance understandings of what is felt and experienced during light touch sessions of CST.
- Manual Muscle Testers: AP will help clarify some of the inconsistencies of muscle testing, as well as, enhance one’s ability to test through the training of neural palpation (cranial style touch).
- Chiropractors: develop a gentle, neurological approach to compliment their practice
- Acupuncturists: Enhance hands on skills, feel chi flow, and learn to introduce a little muscle testing to integrate into one’s practice. Much of the course references Acupuncture/pressure points and meridians.
